Surroundings

Both nature and culture can be found a stone's throw away from the hotel. Surrounded by major rivers, Dordrecht was for many centuries ideally positioned for trade. Fortunately, the history of Dordrecht's heyday has been preserved for posterity. It is evident in its harbours, renovated warehouses, characteristic bridges and the old streets in the city centre. For nature lovers, Biesbosch national park has much to offer. It is ideal for cycling, exploring on foot, canoeing, or a walk among the many willow trees.

About Hotel de Watertoren in Dordrecht

Where the city meets the countryside, we offer a place to relax and enjoy. A warm welcome awaits you in our lively restaurant, shaded terrace, beautiful hotel rooms, and function room. The water tower, after which the hotel is named, has a rich history. It is industrial heritage and has been a landmark in Dordrecht for almost 100 years. Jaap and Joke de Bloeme pull out all the stops to ensure optimum enjoyment and relaxation for the hotel and restaurant guests.

Sustainable

At Hotel De Watertoren our motto is "a better world starts at home." We use organic products as much as possible, have second-hand furniture in the restaurant and other places in the hotel, and heat the entire building using a heat pump system. The owners of the hotel also founded the Good Future Africa charity through which they offer children in Cameroon a better future.
